I've got another post for you today, and that is a gift guide for the beauty addict in your life. Over the past month, I've had to write a few wishlists for people that wanted to get me a gift but had no idea what to buy. So, now that I have an idea of what gifts to get, it was time to write a list for you all, so that there was something within each price range for that special someone.
Of course, all of the gifts that I've mentioned are cruelty-free, so you can rest assured that you'll have an easy time.
Stocking Stuffers
Essence Cosmetics Lip Liners $2.00 each
These lipliners are touted as some of the best affordable lip liners that you can find in drugstores, and they're super cheap! It makes them perfect as stocking stuffers!
eBay Zoeva Dupe Brush Set $5.20-$6.80
I know there are a few dupes in this list, but they make such fun gifts, and they're really good for what they are. There are two different types of Zoeva brush sets on eBay, one being a general all-rounder set with face and eye brushes, and the other being eye/lip brushes. They come in either pink or black, with rose gold ferrules, and if you look carefully in the description and photos, they can come with all synthetic bristles, or some may have goat hair.
I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Blushes $8.34
I love the look of these little blushes, they really look like the Too Faced ones and are meant to be dupes of those too.
I Heart Makeup I Heart Chocolate - Salted Caramel Eyeshadow Palette $13.40
A direct dupe for the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette with shades, scent and pigmentation that are almost identical, but at a much lower price tag and the feeling of satisfaction that you're not supporting a brand now owned by Estée Lauder.
Under $25 AUD
Chi Chi Makeup Blender Complete Collection $15.00
According to several makeup artists, these blenders from Chi Chi are some of the best blenders you can find on the market, and 4 full-sized sponges for just $15 is an excellent deal, especially when you get a variety of shapes to work with.
Sugar Baby Lip Lover Lip Kit $16.95
This is a really cute set from Sugar Baby that comes with two lip liners and three lip tint crayons, in sleek and attractive white and gold packaging. Another Sugar Baby favourite for the same price that I really recommend is the Vita+Skin Super Serum, a coconut-smelling serum that works wonders for the skin.
Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme $17.95
These lip cremes are some of my favourite matte lipsticks, they're so pigmented in just one swipe, and the colour lasts forever. I love that they have a powder-like finish that makes them super kiss-proof, which is perfect for the Christmas season. Here's my review of a couple of shades from this range.
DownUnder Cosmetix Mineral Pigments $18.95 per pot
These mineral pigments are amazing, they're finely milled and, in most cases, buttery smooth. The application is a dream and they blend really nicely. They can be mixed with certain mediums to make eyeliners, lipsticks/tints, or blush. They come in massive pots so they're sure to last forever. I've got a review right here.
Chi Chi Meet The Girls 2 Fragrance Collection $25.00
This is a great gift to get for someone, as the collection comes with 8 different scents that they can experiment with, and can be used throughout the year. Each bottle comes with an atomiser, which makes it perfect for on-the-go application. The scents last a long time as well, which means they don't have to go through the perfumes so quickly.
Under $50 AUD
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer $29.95
This is one of the best highlighters that I've ever used and has always been my fail-safe go-to when I'm in a hurry and don't want to mess around with other products. The packaging is super adorable, and it is really secure.
RCMA 5-Part Palettes $48.00
There are palettes for foundation, colour adjusters, blush, and highlighting and contouring. There's a handful of different series for the foundation depending on skin colour and undertones, and I have the KA Series. They can be used for personal or professional use, and you can get the KJB palette which has all of them, plus adjusters, for the makeup artist. Because they're almost pure pigment with natural plant-based waxes, they're great for most skin types and can be mixed with moisturiser, a face oil, a primer or a mixer. I like mixing this with Grapeseed Oil for a natural, second-skin finish.
What else would you suggest for a beauty addict?
