I say first of the year, because no doubt I'll be back on the Milani website in a few months time, looking for more products to add to my kit. I've yet to use the ones I just got, and I have already added a few more to my wishlist. How crazy is that? This time last year I wouldn't even dare to think about buying a lipstick, and now I've got a collection of makeup to last me a lifetime. If you told me this time last year that I'd be obsessed with beauty products, I would have responded with "Bitch please, I'm al naturel!"
However, I didn't want to buy them from the Australian site, as choices were limited (sold out) and priced a bit further out of my budget. I wanted to get them from the American site, so I enlisted help from one of my friends residing in the US. Like me, my friend is a mineral collector, and she enthusiastically agreed to buy them in exchange for one of my nicest specimens.
So, here goes!
Firstly, from this haul, we have two Colour Statement Moisture Matte Lipsticks, in 74 Matte Darling, and 67 Matte Confident. I reviewed 61 Matte Naked previously, and though I liked the colour so much, it left a white line on the inside of my lips. I'm hoping that it's because of the shade itself, not the formula. I got these two new shades in hopes that it won't happen again, because the formula was truly lovely.
I also got two Rose Blushes, in 01 Romantic Rose, and 08 Tea Rose. These are the only Milani product that I've always been very much excited and intrigued about ever since I first heard of Milani Cosmetics. Aren't they just precious?! I don't think I can bear using those and muddying the rose motifs. These two shades are the only ones in the range that are vegan, so bear that in mind if you plan to order these.
I also purchased another Baked Blush, because I really liked the last one I got, and it's been my go-to blush ever since I received it in the mail. I feel sorry for my other blushes, but I can't help liking this baby. I got this one in 09 Red Vino.
I also got a few eye products, because why the hell not? First up is the Grandissimo Lashes Mascara, which promises to deliver lengthier lashes. High hopes for this one, especially after Wet n Wild's XXL Mascara failed me. Let's hope this ticks all the boxes.
Next one is the Supreme Kohl Kajal Eyeliner. Believe it or not, I actually didn't have any kohl pencils in my kit prior to this one, so I figured it was bloody high time I got one already.
I also got the Length In Seconds Lash Extension, because it was a brand new addition to their range, and it doesn't come with an accompanying formula. With this one I can apply it to any mascara that I'm wearing.
Lastly, I picked the Easy Brow Mechanical Pencil in 02 Dark Brown. I don't have any eyebrow products, since my eyebrows are already prominent enough without needing any help, but I thought it would be a good addition to my kit for when I'm going somewhere special.
So that concludes the haul, and I'm pretty excited about trying every single one of these goodies and reviewing them for my readers. Which Milani products are your favourites?
OMG, that baked blush looks gorgeous! Milani is definitely one of the best cruelty-free drugstore brands! Reviews, please. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely gorgeous, and oh my god, it is so pigmented that I'm actually terrified of it. I'll have reviews on these soon, just have a few posts lined up first.
