It's now 2016, and I realised that I hadn't set any goals for myself this year, at least not ones that have been written down and set in stone. So I thought I'd take the time to write a few goals down.
1. Beauty: Drastically reduce my spending habits on products to the very, very minimum. Limit purchases to replace makeup that have gone bad or run out. Steph, you've got more than enough make-up!
2. Skincare: Research brands and products to find the best ones to improve my skin. Experiment with masks, and find a way to make vegan pore strips.
3. Haircare: Go on the search for the best brown shade for my hair, I need to find a way to hide the sudden and premature onslaught of grey hairs. Also, start using volumising shampoo.
4. Food: Refrain from giving into cravings for salty carb-loaded food such as chips, pretzels, and vegemite and cheese scrolls. Find delicious vegetarian recipes that are high in protein.
5. Health: Be proactive with my health. Take supplements everyday, especially iron, because I want to be able to donate blood again. I need to eat more nutritionally balanced meals.
6. Friendships: I need to strengthen my friendships. I have a horrible knack of not contacting people for weeks or months on end. It's not that I don't like them, it's more of a "I'm sure they don't want to be bothered by me, let's leave them alone for now." I need to become more active in keeping them close.
7. Family: This is a hard subject to broach on. As an introvert in a family of loud and sociable Italians, I tend to keep to myself, and whenever I approach someone, I struggle to hold conversations with anyone, let alone think of a good and engaging topic to talk about.
8. Travel: I really want to go overseas this year. I've got the increasing urge to just pack my bags and board a plane to somewhere new and interesting. I've always loved travelling, and if I could just travel all year around, I would.
9. Career: Do some deep soul searching and figure out what I really want out of life and what I want to study. I keep hitting obstacles as soon as I find a career path that I developed a interest in. It won't be an amazing dream career, but it has to be something that I won't grow to hate like I did with patisserie.
10. Blog: Set mini goals for this blog, and strive to stick to quality over quantity. Improve photography skills, and aim to incorporate more recipes and thorough reviews. Review all of the 50+ products you have in your damn collection, woman!
And that's that! What are your goals for this year, readers? Do you have any special plans happening this year?

I love the little time turner you incorporated in the picture above, it fits so nicely! ;) I'm also trying to spend less this year, I'm going to try and use up some of my products first before I continue to add to my collection. I'm the same with friendships, I cut people off the second I'm feeling down or upset and turn into a bit of a hermit. Trying to improve on this though but it's tricky!

I'm a hermit through and through, so as soon as the excitement of having made a new friend wears off, I go into the "let's give them a break for now", and end up not talking to them for months afterwards. Just horrible.
DeleteHaha, I was waiting for someone to point that out!
