Priceline 40% Off Skincare Haul

Yesterday I finally got to cross out #2 of of my goals for 2016, which was to be more proactive with my skincare. I went out and got four new products after discovering Priceline's 40% Off Skincare sale. When Priceline hold these 40% Off sales, they mean business. They generally last for two days, and the entire range is up for grabs, no exceptions. I always pinch my pennies in anticipation for these days, especially when I've got my eye on something a bit pricey, EcoStore Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner, I'm looking at you.

What's In My Shower?

I thought I'd enlighten you all on what (and whom) currently reside in my shower. You might faint from the dorkiness as soon as you see the last item, so you have been warned. I'm known to possess geeky functional items, such as a Doctor Who TARDIS cookie jar, and a Lion King mug amongst other things. And I want a pair of Obi Wan lightsaber chopsticks.

Before I deviate from the purpose of this post even further, let's get down to business, bro.

A Ridiculously Delicious Sandwich

Whenever I'm out and about, I love to search for a toasted veggie focaccia, or something with a Mediterranean flair. There's something comforting about a hot sandwich jam packed with vegetables and a little bit of cheese.

The Lipstick Diaries Entry #7: e.l.f. Studio Moisturising Lipsticks

I honestly have no idea why I don't wear these lipsticks more often. Then again, I don't wear lipsticks often enough, yet my collection just keeps on growing. That's the point of The Lipstick Diaries, I suppose. I really, really like lipsticks, it just adds spice to an otherwise plain outfit, makes me feel a bit more exciting, and it seems to brighten up my day every time I apply a lick of colour to my lips.

10 Goals For 2016: Beauty, Food, and Lifestyle

It's now 2016, and I realised that I hadn't set any goals for myself this year, at least not ones that have been written down and set in stone. So I thought I'd take the time to write a few goals down.

Teriyaki Tofu Don

Teriyaki tofu don is one of my favourite Japanese dishes. Not only is it cheap at most Japanese restaurants, but it's also a reliable dish to count on, because it doesn't contain any animal products. It is quite hard to establish whether vegetarian dishes in these restaurants are free from animal products, because the chefs add dashi stock to most dishes, a stock usually made with kombu and bonito flakes. To find out if that's the case, it is best to ask the chef if their dashi stock is made with bonito, dried fish flakes from the tuna family.

The Lipstick Diaries Entry #6: KLARA Cosmetics Kiss Proof Lips

Also a first impressions post on the brand itself, I never had any intention of reviewing Klara Cosmetics on this blog, due to the high price range. However, my future sister-in-law gave me this liquid lipstick as a Christmas gift! I knew there was no way I could let this escape from being reviewed on this blog now, especially since I had been mildly curious about this brand.

Real Techniques Bold Metal Collection: Essentials Brush Kit

Welcome to the first post of 2016! I decided to start off the new year with a bang, with a new and better template, layout, and style. What better way to celebrate a blog revamp than a review on gorgeous new brushes? What's a beauty blog without a brush post, anyways?
